Master's students from all universities can seek to enroll.
Application form needs to be submitted with the relevant documents mentioned in the form. Deadline for applications: 1st of April 2018 NOTE: second round of applications: 1st of June 2018.
Together with the application form, all applicants should write and submit a letter of motivation (max. one page) that can indicate areas of interest, past experience and plans for future studies. Accepted students will be notified before the end of April.
Important: When applying, you should be aware that in order to participate in the summer school, you are committing to conduct a small-scale preliminary fieldwork prior to the summer school itself, i.e. in the month of July. Accepted students will receive comprehensive information and guidance.

The course is open to master's students. There are limited seats, and the best qualified students are selected according to relevant prerequisites and based on letter of motivation.

Monthly rate approximately: DKK 3,500 - 4,500. Deposit: one month’s rent.
Living expenses: Approx. DKK 2,500 for three weeks
Estimate of visa fee: Only for students from non EU/EEA and non-visa waiving countries. App. DKK 1,700 (excl. local fees)
Housing will be available through the UCPH Housing Foundation. In early May, students will receive an email with an invitation to book accommodation through an online system. The available housing is typically single rooms in a student dormitory with access to kitchen/cooking equipment.

It is possible to attend both summer schools as the final days of New Urban Life Across the Globe: Activism and Change in a World of Cities will be scheduled in the mornings while the first days of Urban Culture in Theory and Action is scheduled in the afternoons.
